Personal And Social Responsibility
Along with our psychomotor benchmarks, we also grade the social emotional learning for each student. The following benchmarks show what our grade level social emotional expectations looks like for the report card. Benchmarks are scored on a scale of 1-4, with 4 being the highest possible grade. We look for students to meet grade level expectations, which is a 3, and each grade level is listed below. Throughout the year we grade in two terms, one being in the winter and then again at the end of the school year. Our obvious goal is for each student is to make progress towards grade level expectations and possibly beyond. These goals play such a vital role with the overall wellness of each of our students. As you can see in grade 1, we are focused on their individual class participation and as we move towards 5th grade we extend to partner, small group and team related themes.
